Acrylic, canvas, & vinyl, as well as materials like metal & fiberglass. Acrylic fabrics are popular for their durability & ease of maintenance. Canvas is known for its strength & flexibility, while vinyl is a durable option that is easy to clean & maintain. Metal awnings, often made of aluminum, offer durability & low maintenance.  

Shade sails are commonly made from fabrics like High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), PVC, Acrylic, & Polyester. HDPE is known for its durability & high UV protection, making it a popular choice. PVC offers good durability & UV protection, though color options may be limited. Acrylic provides a wide range of colors & excellent UV protection. Polyester is a more cost-effective option, but may not be as durable or UV resistant as the others.  

Pavilions can be constructed from a variety of materials, with wood, vinyl, & metal being the most common choices. Wood, including pressure-treated pine & cedar, is popular for its natural look and versatility, while vinyl offers a modern aesthetic & low-maintenance option. Metal, such as steel & aluminum, provides durability and can be used for both the structure & roofing. Other materials like stone, concrete, & even bamboo can also be incorporated to achieve specific design goals.   

  Ensure downspouts are properly connected to the gutters & directed away from the foundation. Inspection of flashing under the drip edge & over the back of the gutter to prevent water from getting behind the gutter. Testing the system with running water to check for leaks & proper drainage

• Cedar: Naturally rot-resistant and offers a beautiful aesthetic.  
• Other wood types: Douglas Fir, Redwood, and Eastern White Pine are also used. 
• Wood pavilions: can be stained or painted to match various styles.  
• Vinyl-wrapped wood: Provides the look of wood with the added benefit of vinyl's durability and low maintenance. 

• Steel: Provides strength and durability, making it suitable for permanent structures.  
• Aluminum: A lightweight and corrosion-resistant option, often used for both structures and roofing.  
• Other metals: Copper and stainless steel are also used, particularly for custom designs.  
• Metal roofing: Offers a long-lasting and weather-resistant solution. 

• Vinyl: A low-maintenance and weather-resistant option, often used to wrap wooden posts or as a roofing material.  
• Stone and Concrete: Can be used for foundations, columns, or decorative elements.
